How are you in this pandemic time? It has been months since the lockdown started; I am very sure that your life has come to unimaginable changes; the typical day of studying or working halted into days and months of uncertainties.

You in the Pandemic Times
How are You in Pandemic Times?

To most of us, the first two weeks of ECQ was the long-awaited grand vacation: others went out of town or out of the country with their loved ones; yet, most spend it doing random things in their house like bonding with their family, cooking, watching on Netflix, played online games, general house repair and cleaning, record TikTok videos, and other recreational things they wished to do, for most of us have not felt the effect of the virus.

But as the lockdown extends from another two weeks to one month and then became two months, everyone is starting to get bored and worried about the realization of the effect of the pandemic: necessary supplies are running out of stock that causes the people to panic. Another issue is the stopped operation of public transportation that started the work from home arrangement still because of the internet and computer issues not all can do it. Many businesses were mandatory closed and had no choice but to lay off employees. Lucky for those who have savings to be used in times like this but to many who are just a typical worker that depends on their small daily wage is an unfortunate event adding to the difficulty is the increasing bills from rental, water, and electricity consumption. These are the difficulties we are experiencing beside the soaring numbers of infected and dying due to COVID-19.

Yet, we as Filipino took the situation on a different level. True to being resilient and resourceful people, we still see reasons to smile and find ways to move forward. And I believe it comes from: 1) our deep faith that there is our God who gives us the strength and wisdom to overcome any trials we face; and 2) our determination and hard work. We can think of ways to cope with any challenging situation, whether its typhoon, famine, politics or even pandemic.

A great example of this is how we Filipinos use social media sites like Facebook as a platform to advertise different products; from homemade delicacies, home decors, appliances, kitchen wares, school supplies, gadgets, medical supplies, plants and more. Only write it on the search icon, and you'll surely find what you needed in the convenience of one-click, the best way to earn while staying at home during the lockdown period.

And to those who are not into selling products, they are offering the online courses and freelancing services: data entry, transcription, admin assistance, social media management and marketing, graphic designs, video editing, content writing, SEO, website creation and optimization, and other virtual assistance services any business or company needs.

To know more about virtual assistance and how it can help your business, feel free to message us. And we'll be glad to help you.
